Blog Talk Radio – The Victory Hour
Saturday’s episode of The Victory Hour, I have the pleasure of chatting with John Hawkins – proprietor of RightWingNews & Conservative Grapevine. John is an insightful writer, brilliant conversationalist and an outstanding gentleman. Yes, he is all that!
Two recent articles posted on RightWingNews caught my attention:
“Blogging While Female” Part 1
“Blogging While Female” Part 2
John interviewed prominent female bloggers regarding the unique trials that face women in the blogosphere and questioned them on the keys to success as a blogger.
Does gender affect how the blogger is perceived by the web surfing public? Does the political stance of a female blogger make a difference? Are conservative female bloggers more of a target of hate mail/speech than liberal(progressive) female bloggers?
These are a few questions that I plan to cover and shed light on this topic.
Sound dishy? Tune in and Call in to the Victory Hour this Saturday 5:30 pm EST.

Friday’s Musings at Blog Talk Radio
Not one to stay static – tonight’s BTR will be a collection of previous podcasts mixed by the uber talented Josh Allem.
The first podcast: Moonlighting With Skye
A few weeks ago, I enjoyed a fun conversation with Skye of Midnight Blue about Moonbats, my home town, the recalls and exports from China, the war on terror leading us to Iran, our dysfunctional 2 party system, socialism, the PC Police, Ann Coulter, Don Imus and trying to figure out exactly what ‘nappy-headed’ means. Originally recorded on November 9, 2007.
The second podcast: Liberal Logic?
During the last moments of the November 7th broadcast of “The Halls of Valhalla” Loki, Skye, Paul and I discussed the dangers of engaging the liberal mind. From that we went into the complexities of abortion and the application of the United States Constitution. The entire clip is about 16 minutes. Originally recorded on November 7, 2007.
Next week, the Victory Hour will be embracing the cultural phenomenon of ‘change’ that is sweeping through the campaigns of the DNC candidates. The Victory Hour is changing dates and time for the show to Saturday @ 5pm.

Stuck in traffic! 3.5 hours of mind numbing waiting, which of course forced me to be a no-show for my own radio show.
Joe Kaufmann is the sweetest guy on earth, taking my news that I would not be able to run the show with aplomb.
Sorry folks!
Friday’s Musings at Blog Talk Radio
Tonight on BlogTalkRadio I’ve a special guest: Doc Raoul. He is a forensic expert who dissects the anatomy of the anti-war movement in the United States. I first met him at the weekly West Chester Victory Rally outside the West Chester Courthouse, where he impressed me with his human megaphone style of communicating. Talking with him, I discovered he is a walking wealth of information regarding the roots of the US anti-war movement. Tonight, he will share some of his knowledge with my listening audience.
As promised, here is an outline of the Doc Raoul’s talk on The Victory Hour this past Friday. If you have any questions regarding more specific information, please post the question in the comment section:
References are listed at the bottom of this outline.
GOALS
For anti-everythings, protesting is a Mardigras social, been doing it for 40 years. Meet up with old friends, no dissent, group think, a time to validate themselves. Many are NOT Anti-war, but anti-US – many causes represented at ‘peace’ rallies – think Amish barn builders.
Use rallies as a way to communicate their grievances against the USA, and not promote peace. Frequently combine Peace AND ‘Social Justice’ – WTFrak!

Moonlighting With Josh Allem
Josh Allem, the amazingly talented radio blogger has worked his magic to create this montage of a conversation between Blog Talk Radio subscribers recorded on November 9, 2007.
The teddy bear would make a perfect Christmas gift – I’ve already got mine, what about you?
Friday’s Musings at Blog Talk Radio
WHY? To effect positive change in the energy field of the Earth through input of the largest possible instantaneous surge of human biological, mental and spiritual energy.Everywhere in the world, but especially in countries with weapons of mass destruction and places where violence is used in place of mediation.
WHEN? Solstice Day (Winter in the Northern Hemisphere,
Summer in the South) – Saturday, December 22nd, 6:08 a.m. Universal Time (GMT). That’s right, this time we’re asking everyone to synchronize their orgasms at the very moment of the Solstice, to get the greatest possible effect. This may take some preparation, so plan ahead – and practice!Global Warming
The planet needs a rest from all our other desires, so what better way to get us to take a rest from over-consumption than an orgasm? And if we can combine that energy with a resolution to be satisfied with less of everything (except orgasms, of course), perhaps the collective mindset will change. And since a major cause of global warming, peak oil, peak water, peak everything is overpopulation by humans, lets put in a collective request for fewer offspring. Every cute baby is another consumer. Let’s make children even more valued by making fewer of them, before the pressures of overpopulation drive our children to kill each other.
Pearl Harbor Remembered via Scott Malensek
Mark Steyn on Outsourcing our Future:
Preserving peace, he said, will mean preserving the population – something Western nations are doing less and less impressively. He cited in his 2006 book America Alone a U.S. fertility rate of 2.11 children per family, barely hitting full replacement rate. A European family has, on average, 1.38 children, a figure portending population decline.
“There’s simply no precedent for managed decline” in a civilization that has risen to such heights, Mr. Steyn said, voicing consternation that European sophisticates have only encouraged the trend.
He cited the example of two British women who opted for sterilization to prevent conceiving children who would consume the earth’s natural resources and engage in commercial activities that would worsen climate change.
“Apparently the best way to save the earth for the next generation is not to have a next generation,” Mr. Steyn quipped. “Who do you think is going to be around to man the Greenpeace office in 30 years time?”
He described the upshot of the West’s predicament in the epigrammatic style for which he is widely known. “They’re saving the planet for the culture whose womenfolk don’t get sterilized,” he said.
Members of that culture are strewn across Middle Eastern nations like Pakistan (with a birthrate, according to Mr. Steyn’s book, of 5.08 per couple) and Saudi Arabia (with a birthrate of 4.53). High birthrates obviously make for young populaces. The median age in Palestine’s Gaza Strip, for example, is 15.8 years.
And upward and westward these youngsters have come. They have come in droves, for instance, to the Netherlands, where Muslims currently comprise 5.8 percent of the population. They’ve even come copiously into nations like Norway that have no history of colonialism in majority-Muslim territories.
“It’s simple supply and demand,” Mr. Steyn explained. “Pakistan had people; Norway didn’t.” The country’s birthrate was 1.81 percent per couple in 2006.
