The Definitive Post on Hypocrisy

So, it seems the Chester County Democrats along with Chester County peace Movement (CCPM) are sensing defeat in the air and have launched a video smear campaign against a Republican candidate running for school board and a local pro American group called the American Sheepdogs. Is there any irony left in the fact that Democrats are attacking America?

Despite a recent exposure of a vicious backdoor smear campaign, in which Democrat committeemen and a representative of the Democrat WCASB candidates conspired to subvert campaign finance rules for a negative literature drop on the Republican candidates; they still press on with a negative campaign.  You can view their latest attempt HERE.  The video was crafted by John Grant, an avowed socialist and chavez groupie. The candidate highlighted in the video is Sean Carpenter, a well respected member of the West Chester community and devoted dad. One thing that you cannot deny in this video is the fact Sean is very photogenic, in fact, he is quite the hottie!  It is refreshing to watch a video of  citizens expressing their constitutional right to free speech AND celebrating America at the same time.  Not sure that is the intention of this video, but it is what it is.

The Sean Carpenter I Know

Note: The really spectacular photos are all  Neocon.

I want to take some time to speak on behalf of a good friend of mine who happens to be running for a seat on the West Chester Area (WCA) School Board. You can read about his candidacy and his fellow running mates at Vote 4 Great Schools. It has been my pleasure to work with Sean on various projects – American Sheepdogs, A Hero’s Welcome and Warriors Watch to name a few. This is a man who takes a keen interest in his local community, relishes being a father and is a trustworthy friend. Below are photos of Sean and his work that further illustrate his character:

Joe Says No!

Senator Joe Lieberman stated today that he will would back a GOP filibuster of the Democrats Health Care Scheme.

Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) said Tuesday that he’d back a GOP filibuster of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s health care reform bill.

Lieberman, who caucuses with Democrats and is positioning himself as a fiscal hawk on the issue, said he opposes any health care bill that includes a government-run insurance program — even if it includes a provision allowing states to opt out of the program, as Reid has said the Senate bill will.

60 Mins: Medicare Fraud

This should be required viewing by every one who supports government run health care.

Via Newsbusters:

STEVE KROFT, CBS: Of all the problems facing the United States right now, none are more important than healthcare. President Obama says rising costs are driving huge federal budget deficits that imperil our future, and that there is enough waste and fraud in the system to pay for health care reform if it was eliminated.

At the center of both issues is Medicare, the government insurance program that provides health care to 46 million elderly and disabled Americans. But it also provides a rich and steady income stream for criminals who are constantly finding new ways to steal a sizable chunk of the half a trillion dollars that are paid out each year in Medicare benefits.

In fact, Medicare fraud – estimated now to total about $60 billion a year – has become one of, if not the most profitable crimes in America.

We caution you that this story may raise your blood pressure, along with some troubling questions about our government’s ability to manage a medical bureaucracy.

Back Channels: The Case for Christie

One sentence from this column sums up all you need to know about Christie.

And Christie is not part of the corrupt Democratic Party machine.

Any questions?

Lemon Run Accomplished

Lemon Run 2009

What a perfect day for the 1st annual Lemon Run 5K benefiting Alex Lemonade Stand Foundation. Over 500 runners participated in this event, including yours truly.  The trail was picturesque and challenging, especially for a person who never set foot on this trail. I look forward to next year and hope to have many more join me in this charity race.

I want to thank NeoCon for taking stunning photographs of the event and will post a link to the photos after post processing is completed.  Photos from the event can be viewed HERE

First They Killed Your Pet to Protect The Planet

Now the greenazi’s would like you to protect the planet by reducing the carbon footprint of the food you eat. In other words, stop eating in order to protect the planet.

Swedes Study Their Plates

STOCKHOLM — Shopping for oatmeal, Helena Bergstrom, 37, admitted that she was flummoxed by the label on the blue box reading, “Climate declared: .87 kg CO2 per kg of product.”

A dairy farm near Uppsala is among the Swedish companies now focusing on the carbon dioxide emitted in food production.

“Right now, I don’t know what this means,” said Ms. Bergstrom, a pharmaceutical company employee.

But if a new experiment here succeeds, she and millions of other Swedes will soon find out. New labels listing the carbon dioxide emissions associated with the production of foods, from whole wheat pasta to fast food burgers, are appearing on some grocery items and restaurant menus around the country.

People who live to eat might dismiss this as silly. But changing one’s diet can be as effective in reducing emissions of climate-changing gases as changing the car one drives or doing away with the clothes dryer, scientific experts say.

Silly Swedes. What you won’t see is any empirical study noting the direct correlation of a change in global climate by adjusting a diet around this new measurement. You most likely will see the Swedish government taking these calculations and using them to ban foods based on their carbon dioxide rating.

Buster’s Adoptaversary!

Buster - 2008

Buster - 2008

Today marks one year since I encountered an abandoned dog being fostered at my vet’s office. I had brought Tiny in for her yearly checkup and the vet tech mentioned they had the perfect dog for me. I already have that, I thought at the time. While waiting for Tiny’s blood work, I was introduced to ‘mayo’ – a Pomeranian/American Eskimo mix who was brought to the veterinarian office by a good Samaritan a few weeks prior to my visit. It seems this dog was rescued from a deadly situation of dodging moving cars on a busy highway.

Yep, it was love at first sight. After taking a day to consider this new addition to the family, I picked up ‘Mayo’ after work and brought him home.

Buster and Tiny
Buster and Tiny

First thing he did was to eat all of Tiny’s food, since then there has been nothing but hate from Tiny.  Buster acts like a perfect gentleman around Tiny. Over the past year, I’ve discovered my precious Tiny channels an inner Cujo when it comes to Buster.  Every now and then there are moments of peace between them, and I get to capture it on film.

If you are considering getting a dog or cat, I strongly urge you to think about adopting – you get more than give when adopting an abandoned animal.

I’m looking forward to sharing many more Adoptaversaries with Buster.

UPDATE:  It has come to my attention that the Greenazi’s of this world would rather I’d let Buster be put down than to have adopted him.  Troglopundit on RWN has the scoop.

Lemon Run Update

Alex Lemon Run

Picked up my running bib and goodie bag yesterday in preparation for Alex Lemonade Stand Fund 1st Annual 5K Run/Walk in Ridley Creek State Park. My good friend Neocon will be there to photograph the run and festivities. I’ve worked hard these past few months and am ready for this run and ready to support the legacy of Alex and her Lemonade Stand.
