Swine Flu Symptoms

As of this morning there are 91 confirmed cases and 1 death from the Swine Flu.

UPDATE: WHO has raised Pandemic Alert to Level 5

I’ve tried to keep politics out of this information, but I have to comment on Biden. His statements regarding the swine flu are dangerously negligent, inflaming fear instead of reason regarding the swine flu. I strongly suggest the public ignore the medical advice from Biden and heed the advice of the CDC.

In this video, Dr. Joe Bresee with the CDC Influenza Division describes swine flu – its signs and symptoms, how it’s transmitted, medicines to treat it, steps people can take to protect themselves from it, and what people should do if they become ill

This podcast, intended for the general public, demonstrates how to put on and take off disposable respirators that are to be used in areas affected by the influenza outbreak.

100 Days Later and Just As Angry

Byron York
takes a closer look at the continuing anger from those identifying themselves as liberals:

These should be happy times for liberals and the Democratic Party as a whole. They control the White House and Congress. Opposition Republicans are leaderless and lost. So why do some Democrats, particularly those farther to the left, appear so angry?

I’d say the anger runs deeper than political projections:

Their president of hope and change is against a special commission to investigate Bush-era terrorist interrogations. He is escalating the war in Afghanistan. He seems determined to bail out the nation’s richest bankers. For some on the left, it can be difficult to abide those actions and still maintain the image of one’s self atop the moral high ground. So, according to Anderson, they lash out at the easy target presented by the tea parties.

First 100 Days – A Man-Caused Disaster

Bush 2001 First 100 Days

Michelle Malkin
sums up the perfect storm:

“Man-caused disaster.” That’s a perfect description of the Scare Force One torture photo op that took place this week, and an apt summary of the last 100 days. Say cheese.
