Via Patriot News:

Boscov’s Department Stores reported the largest December profit ever made by the company. Between Dec. 4 and 31, the chain made $26 million, company officials said. Boscov’s is still awaiting $35 million in loans the state is trying to arrange to help the 39-store chain regain solid footing.

I don’t want to accuse Boscov’s owners of fanning economic fears to foist an unnecessary Boscov Bailout on unsuspecting Pennsylvania taxpayers…or do I?

The governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich, has been convicted of abuse of power in an impeachment trial at which he was accused of trying to sell Barack Obama’s empty Senate seat to the highest bidder.

Mr Blagojevich, a former Democratic ally of Mr Obama, is the first US Governor to be removed from office in 21 years.

Marathon Pundit is overjoyed….I think. Lt. Governor Pat Quinn has been elevated to full Governor this afternoon. For a moment, I was worried that Chelsea Clinton or Caroline Schlossberg would have started a whining campaign for the seat.

Just Say “No” To Bill Ayers

Canada got the ball rolling by refusing to allow an unrepentant domestic terrorist and close friend of Barak Obama to step foot on their soil.

It seems almost inexplicable, until you know the truth about Bill Ayers.

Melanie Morgan, along with Move America Forward and allies picked up the torch lit by Canadian immigration officials and organized a rousing rally outside St. Mary’s College. The Catholic college had invited the unrepentant terrorist and former member of The Weather Underground to speak to the faculty and students. Wonder what he discussed at this lecture? Perhaps his logistics for the elimination of 25 million people? Or maybe he discussed the finer points of The Weatherman’s mantra “Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, Kill your parents.”

This guy, given the opportunity and equipment, would kill again and vote for Obama…again.
